The Snake Divers

Documentary series. Filmmaker Tim Noonan travels the globe to learn about remote cultures and their rituals of manhood. Tim travels to Cameroon in West Africa to find the Gbaya people and undertake what might be the most terrifying boy-to-man ritual in the world. Only when you crawl headfirst into the lair of a giant rock python, and wrestle the monster snake from its den, can you be called a man.
