BBC News is responsible for the news programmes and documentary content on the BBC's general television channels, as well as the news coverage on the BBC News Channel in the UK, and 22 hours of programming for the corporation's international BBC World News channel.
In 2024 BBC World News closed down and merged with the existing British BBC News channel. However for blocks of the schedule each day and for special events the UK airs it's own programming andsimulcasts the main BBC News bulletins on BBC One, meaning some programming is exclusive to the UK. This network covers the European feed of the channel.
