ABC ME series Hardball is set to be renewed for a second season, having received funding in the latest round from the Australian Children's Television Foundation.
The series by Northern Pictures revolves around primary school children in Western Sydney as they prepare for a handball tournament and was recently nominated in the prestigious Banff Rockie Awards.
The second season will consist of 10 by 30 min episodes.
