W5 Canada’s most-watched and North America’s longest-running investigative series, launches its 58th season with a move to a new day and timeslot. Beginning Oct. 6, episodes air weekly on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. W5’s all-new season of award-winning journalism is led by Investigative Correspondent and Managing Editor Avery Haines. The new season premieres with “Prisoner 14000”, highlighting a new breakthrough in an ongoing W5 investigation about a Canadian grandmother who was imprisoned in Hong Kong for smuggling cocaine into the country. The W5 team travels to Asia to conduct the suspect’s first-ever interview and reveals a surprising twist that catches Haines and the entire W5 team off guard. This season, W5 digs deeper into hard-hitting investigations and an array of compelling stories, including:
