Connor Phillips and Holly Hamilton will bring an update from Northern Ireland on the night and host a special programme, BBC Children in Need 2023 In Northern Ireland on Sunday 19 November.

Lynette Fay is taking on the Pudsey ‘Bearpee’ challenge, doing 1,000 burpees to raise money for BBC Children in Need and listeners can follow her progress live on BBC Radio Ulster from Monday 13 November at 3pm. Throughout the week Lynette meets the organisations that benefit from people’s support, before crossing the ‘bearpee’ finish line on Thursday 16 November.

Also on BBC Radio Ulster, The Connor Phillips Show is in Antrim for a special live outside broadcast from Sensory Kids NI on Tuesday 14 November between 10.30am and 12pm. On the big day itself Hugo Duncan and his radio team will be at The Playhouse in Londonderry from 1.30 to 3pm for an afternoon of music, requests and a celebration of the people that help - and get help from – Pudsey!

On Sunday 19 November, Holly Hamilton and Connor Phillips host the hour-long programme, BBC Children in Need 2023 In Northern Ireland, on BBC One NI and BBC iPlayer at 4.55pm - filmed at Sensory NI in Antrim, featuring local fundraising stories and highlights from the Appeal Show.

They are joined by Pudsey, Hugo Duncan and Brooke Scullion who hit the road to find out more about the amazing fundraisers, organisations and schools who make such a difference in our communities.

Some of the fundraising organisations visited include Foyle Down Syndrome Trust, Mossgrove Primary School in Glengormley and Compass Advocacy Network in Ballymoney.

Last year’s national on the night total was £35 million and the overall fundraising total for the 2022 Appeal was £44 million. Here in Northern Ireland the appeal has currently 120 grants to projects to a value of more than £6m.
