Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children in Need returns this autumn
The much-loved Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children in Need is back this autumn, as presenters Matt Baker MBE, Anita Rani, Sean Fletcher and John Craven lace up their walking boots once again.
Together, they will meet some incredible young people who whose lives have been positively impacted by BBC Children in Need, sharing their stories in a special episode airing on Sunday 5 October on BBC One.
In this weekend’s Countryfile (6.10pm, Sunday 31 August, BBC One), John Craven is joined by Pudsey to ask viewers to get involved. He’ll be encouraging everyone to plan their own sponsored rambles: mapping out a route, recruiting fellow walkers and fundraising to support BBC Children in Need’s vital work.
Now in its 11th year, Countryfile Ramble has raised £18.8m since it began in 2015.
John Craven says: “The Countryfile Ramble is always such an uplifting experience. It’s a chance to celebrate the courage and resilience of young people supported by BBC Children in Need and to come together as a community, step by step, to make a real difference. And with the ramble set amid a beautiful landscape, it’s a powerful reminder of just what can be achieved while out enjoying a day in the countryside.”
Countryfile is made by BBC Studios Entertainment Productions.
