Over $5 million raised for an animation series based on the Dungeons & Dragons stream Critical Role

Critical Role has launched a Kickstarter campaign - The Legend of Vox Machina - that has raised $5.2 million at the time of writing for an animated series of four 22 minute episodes. The series will be set during the 6 month gap between the cast's home game (pre-stream) and the first streamed episode of Critical Role. More stretch goals have been announced, including a further two episodes based on the Briarwoods arc of Critical Role which began at episode 24 of the stream.
