Joe Roche

Joe Roche graduated Loyola University Chicago with a B.A. in Theater and Film Production. He has performed with many notable Chicago theater companies including Steppenwolf, Northlight, Eclipse and Defiant Theater. A graduate of Second City's Conservatory program in Chicago, he performed for a time with several improv teams in Donny's Skybox Studio at Second City, at Improv Olympic, and other notable improv venues. In 2006, he relocated to Los Angeles and joined Theatre of NOTE in Hollywood, where he performed in several Ovation Award and L.A. Weekly Award-nominated productions. In 2010, he began collaborating on new sketch comedy television pilots with writers from MadTV and Saturday Night Live, and began working as a freelance joke writer for Saturday Night Live. He continues to study improv at Upright Citizens Brigade (Los Angeles), performs regularly at Improv Olympic West, and performs regular stand-up gigs at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood.
