Lil' Chris

Christopher James Hardman, known by the stage name Lil' Chris, was an English singer-songwriter and television personality from Lowestoft, Suffolk. He first came to public attention in 2006 on Channel 4's reality series Rock School, where his musical talent and stage presence led to a successful pop career, including the UK Top 10 single "Checkin' It Out" and a self-titled debut album.

Alongside his music, Lil' Chris appeared regularly on British television, taking part in youth and entertainment programming as both a guest and presenter across channels such as Channel 4, the BBC and ITV2.

Born on 26 August 1990, he died on 23 March 2015. A coroner's inquest concluded that he died by suicide, noting that he had been experiencing mental-health difficulties in the period leading up to his death.
