Born in England, Bunty married Ron Webb and settled in Canada. Throughout the 1970s she was active with Markham Little Theatre and was an excellent comedian. After raising a family in Markham, Ron and Bunty Webb moved to Port Perry, Ontario. Her Little Theatre and advertising work led to film work.
