Now, McConaughey is the sole owner of DGM Supply, an oil pipe machine shop that specializes in buying and selling used pipe. He averages two to one profit on his pipe deals and his most recent multi-million dollar oil deal profited five to one in only two years.
In addition to being an active investor in the entertainment industry, Rooster also has a successful hand in many other business ventures such as technology, consumer products, ranching, real estate, water, corn, and oil.
Having been the beneficiary of other people believing and investing in him, Rooster has chosen to pass along his own success by investing in others through West Texas Ltd., an investment group he started with his friend and business partner Butch Gilliam.
