Transviolet is an American alternative rock band, formed in 2015 in San Diego, California. They consist of lead vocalist Sarah McTaggart, Judah McCarthy, Michael Panek, and Jon Garcia. In 2016, they signed to Columbia Records. They released their debut EP Kaleidoscopes in 2017. Their name is rooted in the Charles Bukowski poem called "When The Violets Roar At The Sun."
