Kimberley Shoniker was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She earned a BA Acting from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and a Conservatory Degree from The Stella Adler Studio of Acting and has a comedic improv background, studying and performing at the famed PIT in New York City.
