Born in Coatlán del Río, Morelos Sergio Calderón studied at the Instituto Andrés Soler of the Asociación Nacional de Actores in Mexico. His six decade long career began with the role of Pedro in the 1970 film The Bridge in the Jungle. His television debut was in a 1983 episode of The A-Team.
Sergio Calderón died after a bout of pneumonia at the age of 77.
