My Morning Jacket is an American rock band formed in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1998. The band consists of Jim James (vocals, guitar), Carl Broemel (guitar), "Two Tone" Tommy Blankenship (bass), Bo Koster (keyboards), and Patrick Hallahan (drums). My Morning Jacket is best known for its reverb-soaked sound and its enthusiastic live shows. Signed with ATO Records, the band's style blends alternative, alt country, folk rock, and psychedelic rock.
