Todd Solondz

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Todd Solondz earned his undergraduate degree in English from Yale and attended New York University's Master of Fine Arts program in film and television, but did not complete a degree. While working as a messenger for the Writers' Guild of America he wrote several screenplays.  Since his early works writing, acting in and directing films such as the 1985 Schatt's Last Shot and 1989s Fear Anxiety Depression, he has established himself as a consistently engaging and unique filmmaker,
