Chris Couto

Christiane Couto is a Brazilian actress and presenter. She became known as a VJ for MTV Brasil. Chris began her acting career in 1978 by taking the Tablado course, in Rio de Janeiro, which allowed her to act in children's plays for the next ten years and then with the group Tapa. He acted in the soap opera Jogo da Vida. In 1986 she moved to São Paulo and was hired by TV Manchete to act in the soap opera Helena, returning to the theater afterwards. In 1991, she was invited by Zeca Camargo to work as a VJ at MTV and passed the test, remaining at the station until October 1999, when she became a reporter for Vídeo Show, on TV Globo. At the same station, Chris acted in some soap operas until 2009, when she started working at Rede Record as an actress and reporter. In 2016 he acted in Liberdade, Liberdade on Rede Globo.
