Born in Uxbridge, Ontario, a small town near Toronto, Colin became interested in acting and the arts when a friend suggested he take a local acting class to overcome shyness. This led to other arts-oriented interests such as drawing, sketching and screenplay writing. Colin was accepted into Humber College's theater program. After graduating, Colin ventured into the film and television industry.
Colin is also an accomplished musician having written, recorded and toured with the band Waiting For Grace.
