Pete Rose

Pete Rose, also known by his nickname "Charlie Hustle", was an American professional baseball player and manager born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1963 to 1986, most prominently as a member of the Cincinnati Reds lineup known as the Big Red Machine for dominating the National League in the 1970s. He successfully played for the Philadelphia Phillies, winning his third World Series championship, and briefly for the Montreal Expos. Rose managed the Reds from 1984 to 1989.
