Born in Austin, Texas, Marc Gilpin first appeared in a 1977 episode of Thunder, followed in 1978 with the role of Willie Wade in the film Where's Willie?. That same year he landed the role of Sean Brody in Jaws 2. The 1989 movie She's Out of Control was his final acting role before leaving the industry to become a software engineer.
Marc Gilpin died of glioblastoma at the age of 56.
