Josef Davies is a British actor who trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), graduating in 2015. He began his professional career on stage, appearing in productions including Hangmen, Shook and Patriots, in which he portrayed Alexander Litvinenko.
On television, Davies is known for playing Sören in Netflix's Young Wallander and Chris Brown in the ITV drama The Hunt for Raoul Moat. His other television credits include Chernobyl, Call the Midwife, Silent Witness, Andor and Agatha Christie's Seven Dials.
His film appearances include 1917, The King and Dumbo. In 2026, Davies starred as Sergei Nikulov in the Apple TV+ For All Mankind spin-off Star City.
