John Slattery began his career working in radio in Ireland, moving into television in the late 1990s. He worked as a TV presenter for the Irish National TV channel, becoming one of the most recognizable faces on Irish television. He later moved to Britain where he is well known for his work on the BBC series' Countryfile and Holiday.
