Lee Hee Jin

Lee Hee Jin is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress, model, and former member of BABY V.O.X (베이비복스). She graduated from Shinkyung Girls' Vocational High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Broadcasting Entertainment from Dong-Ah Broadcasting Arts University.

She made her debut in July 1997 as BABY V.O.X's lead vocalist and face of the group with their first album, Equalizeher. The group displayed a style inspired by the UK's Spice Girls, but the first album was not successful because of the edgy concept. So, from their second album, DR Music (DR뮤직) decided they should adopt a more modest and cute style, used by other girl groups like S.E.S and FIN.K.L. This made them one of the most influential groups of South Korea's first wave of Pop music. The group went on hiatus in mid-2004, and by early 2005, they stopped promoting completely. They officially disbanded in February 2006.

In early 2007, she had some mental health problems and began posting messages about committing suicide. Luckily, she was able to receive help before anything tragic happened.

She made her acting debut in 2010 with a role in the drama It's Okay, Daddy's Girl and has also worked as a model. In November 2024, it was announced that BABY V.O.X would reunite for a special appearance at the 2024 KBS Song Festival, and they performed the following month.
