Born in Barnstable, Massachusetts, Nancy Frangione attended Barry College in Florida before arriving in New York, where at age 21, she made her professional debut on Broadway at the Helen Hayes Theater. In 1977 she debuted in the role of Tara Martin in the daytime soap All My Children, and it was in 1981 that she portrayed Cecile DePoulignac on the popular soap Another World, winning the 1st Soap Opera Digest Awards as Outstanding Villainess in 1984.
Nancy Frangione died after a brief illness at the age of 70.
