B.B. King was born as Riley B. King on a cotton plantation in Leflore County, near the city of Itta Bena, Mississippi, the son of sharecroppers Albert and Nora Ella King. He was married to Sue Carol Hall and Martha Lee Denton. He died in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
