Born in Mexico City, Mexico, Maite Perroni gained international fame in 2004 as a member of the Latin pop group RBD. After graduating from high school, she enrolled at Centro de Educación Artística in a three year course, which she completed in two. As an actress she is one of the most prominent and successful artists in the Latin World, beginning her career in 2004 as Guadalupe 'Lupita' Fernandez in the Mexican telenovela Rebelde.
