Ashley McBryde is an American country music singer-songwriter born in Waldron, Arkansas. She released her self-titled debut album independently in January 2006 and her second independent album, Elsebound, in June 2011. Jalopies & Expensive Guitars, an extended play, was released in March 2016 through Road Life Records. She signed with Warner Music Nashville in 2017 and released Girl Going Nowhere the following year as her major-label debut album. It earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album during the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Held November 13, 2019, the 53rd Annual Country Music Association Awards named her New Artist of the Year. She released her second major-label album, Never Will, on April 02, 2020.
