Huang Zi Tao, known by the stage name Z. Tao, is a Chinese singer-songwriter who made his debut as a member of EXO-M, the Chinese sub-unit of EXO. Tao auditioned for S.M. Entertainment's global casting system in Qingdao, becoming an S.M. trainee in late 2010. He was one of the last Exo members to join S.M. Entertainment and had a training period of less than one year. On December 27, 2011, Tao was formally introduced to the public as the third member of EXO.
After leaving EXO in 2015, Huang made his solo debut with a digital EP titled "TAO". He made his debut movie appearance in 2015, in the Chinese movie 'Silent Separation'. He also started his own entertainment company, L. TAO Entertainment after leaving SM Entertainment.
