Lamont Magee is an American writer and producer. He was born in Los Angeles, California, and he attended UCLA where he majored in Sociology. Magee is the cousin of Major League Hall of Famer, Eddie Murray.
After wrapping up a successful, four-year stint as writer/producer on the CW's Black Lightning, Magee is currently serving as a consulting producer on the HBO Max upcoming series Green Lantern.
In the animation space, Magee has written for Marvel, Disney, Dreamworks, and LucasFilm Animation, and he is currently serving as a consulting producer on the Disney+/Disney Junior upcoming series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.
