Erin Kathleen McPike was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended American University in Washington, graduating with honors and majoring in political science and journalism. Erin is a White House correspondent for the Independent Journal Review and previously worked for CNN, NBC News, National Journal, and RealClearPolitics.
