Born in Chicago, Illinois, Rose Gregorio earned a scholarship to Northwestern University School of Speech, where she joined the Drama department, and traveled to Italy for various productions. Earning a scholarship to Yale, she honed her costume design skills while obtaining a Master of Fine Arts. She began her career on stage in the 1950s, appearing mostly in Chicago and New York City. She made her screen debut in the1961 episode The Fortune Tellers, on the television series Armstrong Circle Theatre.
Rose Gregorio died of complications from pneumonia at the age of 97.
