Sara Barron, Best Newcomer Nominee in the Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Awards 2018 and in the Chortle Awards 2019, is one of the fastest-rising stars in the UK.
Sara's blistering 5-star show Enemies Closer, which was among the best-reviewed shows of the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe, was a major hit at the festival, and played to capacity crowds. As well as an extraordinary run at the Fringe, in the past year alone Sara, has sold out two runs at the Soho Theatre with her highly-acclaimed debut show For Worse, curated her own hugely popular regular nights at 2Northdown and Angel Comedy, and has continued to thrill audiences up and down the country with her stand-up.
Sara's TV credits include Frankie Boyle's New World Order (BBC), Dave Gorman: Terms and Conditions Apply (Dave), Sara has also appeared on The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4), Where's the F in News? (BBC Radio 4), Breaking the News (BBC Radio Scotland) and will be appearing on the upcoming series of Live at the Apollo (BBC).
As well as being a phenomenal comedian Sara is also the author of two books, The Harm in Asking and People Are Unappealing, and was host of the cult storytelling show, The Moth, in New York City.
