Destin Daniel Cretton is an American director, producer, writer, and editor. He was born in Haiku, Hawaii. He is best known for his films Short Term 12 (2013), The Glass Castle (2017), Just Mercy (2019), the Marvel Studios film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), and the TV series Tokyo Vice (2022).
