Sam Tehrani is an Iranian-Austrian actor. He was born in 1988 in Vienna. Tehrani is notable for his role as Shivaz Jamshidpour in the Sundance award-winning feature film The Persian Version by Maryam Keshavarz. The film has also opened the 40th film festival in Munich.
Other notable roles include Arian Mohajerani in the Austrian feature film Dinner for Eight by Bernhard Ratka - as well as his roles in short movies like Paragraph 140 by Louis Derfert and In the Dark by Tobias Vees. Due to his Persian roots, close family ties to the United States and his residence in Austria, he was raised as a trilingual. He's also a multi-instrumentalist, writer and songwriter.
