Kim Gordon

Kim Althea Gordon was born in Rochester, New York but moved to Los Angeles at age 5. She attended University High School and then enrolled at Santa Monica College for two years before transferring to York University. Eventually Kim graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design. Kim is a musician, singer, songwriter, visual artist, and actress and perhaps best known as a bassist, guitarist, and vocalist in the alternative rock band Sonic Youth.
