Carmen Best (born c.1965) is a law enforcement officer who has served with the Seattle Police Department for 28 years holding the ranks of officer, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, and deputy chief prior to being appointed Chief in 2018. Best earned a certificate in police management from the University of Washington and Master of Science degree in criminal justice from Northeastern University.
