Dr. Sheri Fink is a correspondent at The New York Times who writes about health, medicine and science. She received the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting "for a story that chronicles the urgent life-and-death decisions made by one hospital's exhausted doctors when they were cut off by the floodwaters of Hurricane Katrina".
A former relief worker in disaster and conflict zones, Dr. Fink received her MD and PhD from Stanford University.
