Jamie Gangel

Jamie Sue Gangel (born 1955), an award-winning veteran correspondent, joined CNN in August 2015. Prior to that, Gangel had been at NBC News since 1983 and spent nearly two decades as National Correspondent for TODAY. Gangel was born and raised in New York City where she attended The Dalton School. She graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in 1977. In 1976, she also attended Harvard University, where she studied international economics. Gangel is married to #1 New York Times best-selling novelist Daniel Silva. The couple lives in Florida with their twins Lily and Nicholas.
