Ruan Sims OAM is a retired Rugby League & Rugby Union footballer. Ruan played competitively for 11 years in Rugby Union. She was a member of the squads that represented Australia in the 2006 and 2010 Rugby World Cup, finishing third in 2010.
Ruan also represented Australia in Rugby League for the 2013 and 2017 Woman's Rugby League World Cup, winning both times.
Ruan has also done some commentary work in 2017 for ABC Radio Grandstand and has appeared as a regular panellist on the Nine Networks 100% Footy.
