Jonah Fisher is a correspondent for BBC News and its first resident correspondent for Myanmar in 2014. As an experienced journalist, he's had an eventful ten years working with the BBC based in Eritrea, Sudan, London, South Africa, Nigeria, and Thailand. After Myanmar, the BBC News assigned him as their Kiev, Ukraine correspondent in 2017, also covering Belarus events. He is known for his work on In Search of Myths and Heroes (2005), The Laddies Show (2013), and Politics Live (2018).
