Vidura Bandara Rajapaksa is a Sri Lankan writer/director and comedian based in London, via Malaysia and Berlin Germany. His dead-pan style puts audiences at ease while challenging conventional wisdom with a unique tone that is often irreverent, at times poignant, and always hysterical.
His debut comedy special Live From Berlin, rated 9.3 on IMDB, can currently be found streaming on Amazon Prime Video in multiple territories including the UK.
He recently made his UK television debut on The Christmas Special of The Stand Up Sketch Show on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
His script for The Ref was selected for the London Screenwriting Festival Shorts Lab 2021 and (at the time of this application) is a quarterfinalist in the ongoing Outstanding Screenplays Shorts Contest 2021.
