André Zoch

André Zoch (born 1969 in Wuppertal) is a German film and television producer. He received a Grimme-Preis nomination for Das Leben der Philosophen. After studying cultural and communication science, Zoch initially took over as director's assistant, recording director and production director. In Cologne, he worked for Friedrich Küppersbusch on the TV magazine "Private TV". With the series Harter Brocken with Aljoscha Stadelmann as lead actor and screenwriter Holger Karsten Schmidt, André Zoch has established one of the most successful ARD productions of recent years with Stephan Wagner as director. His further successes include the new edition of the ZDF classic Ein Fall für Zwei and the body switch comedy Seitenwechsel of Warner Bros. Before that, André Zoch has supervised the crime scene series Lena Odenthal for several years and produced numerous other television films such as the Grimme nominated comedy The Life of Philosophers directed by Holger Haase or the thriller The Crown Witness with Tobias Moretti in the lead role under the direction of Johannes Grieser.
