Sean-Michael Argo is an author, screenwriter, producer, director, and actor from rural Arkansas. He began his entertainment career in sales and distribution with companies such as Hannover House, Maxim Media International, and Quantum Releasing, and from there he transitioned into being a writer and producer of his own independent films. After several years of creating independent content, Argo's career trajectory shifted again when he was invited to participate in several military training exercises that utilized the unique skills of film directors and producers. From there he spent eight years as a defense contractor to help facilitate counter-insurgency, force-on-force, and cultural sensitivity training for US troops soon to be deployed overseas.
It was during this time as a contractor that he began writing his military science fiction book series Necrospace, and the subsequent Extinction Fleet trilogy, and he now works with Lighthouse Pictures and 365Flix International as a writer and producer to create science fiction and action films.
Sean-Michael Argo is known for the films Johnny Sunshine Maximum Violence (2008), Fable: Teeth of Beasts (2010), Voodoo Cowboys (2010), Sineaters (2012), Iconoclast (2012), Ember Days (2013), Scarlet Samurai: Incarnation (2013), Cleric (2014), The Bleeding Game (2018), Kristina Kringle: The Search for Santa (2020), and A New Lease on Christmas (2021).
He is also the author of Salvage Marines which was adapted into a TV series for Crackle Plus in 2022.
