Dave Redman

Dave Redman is a prolific filmmaker with a passion for storytelling.

He has worked in the Australian film and television industry for over 30 years and has established a solid career as a film and television editor, cutting seven feature films, 200+ episodes of TV, hundreds of TVCs and more than 50 short films that have played at festivals worldwide.

Redman is a graduate of the Australian Film, Television & Radio School (AFTRS) with an MA in Editing for Drama and won the Complete Editor Award in his graduating year (1998). Other awards include Best Editing in an Australian Film at Flickerfest International Short Film Festival (2000) and the Australian Screen Editors' Best Editing Award (TV non-drama) for Bondi Vet (2009). He also edited the Logie Award winning documentary Trishna & Krishna: The Quest for Separate Lives (2011) and the ASTRA Award winning documentary The People Speak (2014).

In 2019 he received his ASE Accreditation from the Australian Screen Editors Guild.
