Nacho Faerna

Nacho Faerna is a Spanish book author and scriptwriter for film and television. He has a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University, participated in a film scriptwriting workshop in Los Angeles, and has a Master's degree in scriptwriting from Madrid's Autonomous University. His work includes the scripts for the feature film La mujer más fea del mundo (1999), the short film La madre, which won the Premio Goya for the best fiction short in 1994, and the documentary Verano en la universidad, which won the Premio Goya for the best short documentary in the same year - 1994. His first novel, Quieto, was short-listed for the Premio Tigre Juan. He is currently the director of the fiction department of the Shine Iberia production company, and teaches scriptwriting at several centres.
