Dino Parks

Dino Parks is a cinematographer of feature films and television.

He was trained as a filmmaker at CSU Northridge. Classmates included Joan Chen and Ron Insana. His fascination with cinematography soon led him to work as a chief lighting technician on films, commercials, and television shows. As a gaffer he worked with award-winning DPs Don Burgess, Russell Carpenter, Steven Fierberg, Fred Murphy and Karl Walter Lindenlaub as well as directors Charles Burnett, Paul Bartel, Mary Lambert, and Jan de Bont.

Shooting short films led to opportunities to DP feature films and eventually ICG membership. For several years Dino shot small films and commercials, while serving as a 2nd unit DP on larger projects, including multiple films with directors Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights, Lone Survivor) and Bill Condon (Dreamgirls, Beauty and the Beast). Other notable directors Dino has worked with include Wayne Wang, Rob Cohen, Ava DuVernay, Gail Lerner, George C. Wolfe and David Fincher.

Dino has worked as a cameraman across the US, as well as in London, Belgium, Morocco, China, Thailand, Iceland, Norway, Seoul, Berlin, Paris, Zurich, Nairobi, and Cairo.

Recent work as a DP has been for director and showrunner Taylor Sheridan on the highly acclaimed series Yellowstone and its prequel, 1883. Dino also shot the comedy-mystery Reunion starring Nina Dobrev, Billy Magnusson and Jillian Bell.
