Concetta Caristo

Concetta Caristo is a comedian, improviser, and "seemingly incapable of saying anything unfunny" (Daniel Herborn, Sydney Morning Herald).

She is a regular guest on SBS' Celebrity Letters and Numbers and was recently seen on Channel 10's The Cheap Seats, ABC's Question Everything, and Channel 7's Australia Now and Then.

Concetta was handpicked by the Sydney Comedy Festival for the 2021 Break Out Comedy showcase, by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for Comedy Up Late 2022 and was a Semi-Finalist in the 2022 Funny Women Awards. She has performed at the Enmore Theatre, The Comedy Store and the Sydney Opera House and has supported acts including Becky Lucas and Aaron Chen. Her debut show, Siena, is a recipient of the Moosehead Award and will premiere at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2023.

Concetta is a two-time Cranston Cup Theatre Sports Grand Finalist and winner of the 2018 Improv Theatre Sydney Smackdown competition. She has appeared regularly on Triple J and has written for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Guardian. She is also the co-creator and co-host of the popular podcasts, Big Natural Talents and The Quibble Hour.

Concetta is an outspoken voice on Domestic Violence as a survivor herself, and her interview for The Kids Helpline on Toxic Relationships has reached over 1.7 million views. She is the producer and host of I'm Brave & Beautiful, an annual comedy show fundraiser which raises money for the Domestic Violence support service, the Full Stop Foundation.

With her infectious demeanour and quick wit, Concetta is on the precipice of a unique kind of stardom that will have Australia head over heels.
