Born in Chicago, Illinois, Kristin Iris Johnson attended Columbia College Chicago where she studied both film/video and fiction writing before getting her BA in Fiction Writing. She and fellow writer Serena M. Lee are the creators and writers of the 2022 supernatural TV series Wicked City, which Kristin also executive produces.
