Lucy Martin is well recognized as a weather presenter for the BBC, who is known for being the first visibly impaired journalist for the BBC.
Martin joined BBC in 2015 after an organization initiative that targeted persons with different disabilities thousands of applicants worldwide applied and ten were selected from the program and Martin was one of them. There was only the requirement for weather and the environment in general Martin gets the opportunity to work as a presenter after three days of workshop with the BBC team.
Martin did her schooling at Private School and complete her graduation from Private University and received a degree in Journalism.
Martin was interested in weather and meteorology because she loves the climate and the environment. She pursued her degree in Geography and dreamed she will be in front of a camera presenting weather news. She received a nomination for the Icon award and undertakes measures and advocates for diversity, especially in the workplace.
