Tim Carvell

Tim Carvell is an American television writer, producer, and satirist best known as an executive producer and longtime senior creative figure on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Before joining the HBO series, he was a writer and later head writer on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where he contributed to multiple Emmy-winning seasons. His work is closely associated with topical comedy, political satire, and long-form comedic analysis. Carvell has also written for publications including MAD, Slate, and The New York Times, and is the author of Planet Tad.
